Née sous l’impulsion de Geoffroy Guichard, fondateur de la société des « Magasins du Casino et établissements économiques d’alimentation », la marque Casino est la première marque de distributeur créée en France. Et c’est à l'occasion de son 125è anniversaire que l’enseigne a demandé à d’Artagnan de créer une collection de boîtes et d’emballages vintage en s’inspirant des codes graphiques originels. Une manière de réaffirmer la qualité des produits qui ont, dès l’origine, permis de bâtir sa réputation et son savoir-faire. Une manière de célébrer une longévité unique dans le monde de la grande distribution. Et une manière de s'inscrire dans la mémoire de consommateurs qui n’ont certes pas connu les années 20. Décidément, le rétro-marketing a de l’avenir.

Created by Geoffroy Guichard, founder of the company "Magasins du Casino et établissements économiques d'alimentation", the Casino brand was the first private label created in France. To mark its 125th anniversary, the brand asked d'Artagnan to create a collection of vintage boxes and packaging inspired by the original graphic codes. A way of reaffirming the quality of the products that have built the brand's reputation and expertise from the outset. A way of celebrating a unique longevity in the world of mass distribution. And a way of inscribing itself in the memories of consumers who certainly didn't live through the 20s. Retro-marketing definitely has a future.
